September 8, 2019 Stevens to lead Express Wells has hired Ryan Stevens as their new head coach. Stevens began his employment in September 2019 and is the second head coach in the young history of the Express program.
April 28, 2019 Penn State Harrisburg powers to weekend sweep Penn State Harrisburg hit 12 home runs in a three game sweep of Frostburg State, including a CAC record eight in the opening game on Saturday.
February 27, 2019 D’Amico, Long, and Santobuono get first NCBWA awards Tre D'Amico, an outfielder for Frostburg State, Keith Long, a right hander pitcher for Texas-Tyler, and Andrew Santobuono, a right handed pitcher for Alfred State, earned the first NCBWA player of the week award for the 2019 season.
February 22, 2019 Thomas More opens with win, Cortland bests Salisbury Thomas More won their opener in their final year in D-III over DePauw. Cortland traveled to to Salisbury and a left with a 1-0-1 record in a battle of Top 25 opponents. Frostburg State needed every run as they outlasted New Rochelle, 17-13 to remain unbeaten.
March 14, 2018 Schneider, Cox, Provost earn honors Carson Cox, Concordia (Texas), Greg Schneider, Frostburg State, and Justin Provost, Rowan were selected by the NCBWA as Hitter, Pitcher, and Rookie of the Week.
March 13, 2018 UMass Boston stays on top, Frostburg joins in UMass Boston holds on to the top ranking followed by UW-Whitewater, Washington and Jefferson, North Central (Ill.), and Trinity (Texas) rounding out the top 5 teams this week. Frostburg State jumps into the poll in the 14th spot.
